Jacksonville Municipal Stadium Information

Situated on ten acres, adjacent to the St. Johns River in the heart of downtown Jacksonville, Jacksonville Municipal Stadium is one of the newest, state-of-the-art sports complexes in the world. Formerly the Gator Bowl, and Alltel Stadium, Jacksonville Municipal Stadium is the result of a $135 million renovation project, making Jacksonville one of the top sports locations in the country.

Designed for a wide variety of events, the stadium features indoor dining and entertainment, club seating, fully equipped luxury suites, superb training facilities and locker rooms, and an impressive sound system.

Home of the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars , this 76,000 seat facility also hosts the annual NCAA University of Florida vs. University of Georgia and Gator Bowl football games.

The stadium's highly visible status has attracted other events including concert acts such as the Rolling Stones, Billy Graham Crusade, Shania Twain, N'sync and George Strait. U.S. Soccer, Promise Keepers and monster truck shows have also been on Jacksonville Municipal Stadium's itinerary in recent years, generating a high status of public image for the First Coast area.
